Prabowo Subianto Calon presiden no urut 02 mengutarakan alasannya kepada publik sehingga tidak bersalaman dengan Anies Baswedan setelah debat ketiga capres 2024 usai.
“Anies tidak menghampiri saya. seharusnya dia yang datang, saya lebih tua dan senior daripada dia”,ujar prabowo
Dalam pidatonya menegaskan bahwa seharusnya anies yang mengambil inisiatif menghampirinya bukan malah menjauh.
Memang benar yang diungkapkan bahwa prabowo lebih senior dan lebih tua dari Anies.
Namun berbeda situasi yang dialami prabowo dan ganjar, mereka sempat bersalaman, Mereka saling respect mengakhiri debat.
Dalam acara debat tersebut Prabowo dan Anies bersamaan tidak saling menghampiri untuk bersalaman saat debat berakhir.
Capres no urut 02 langsung bergegas keluar menuju arah kanan panggung dan langsung dihampiri oleh Ketua Umum Partai Amanat Nasional ( PAN) Zulkifli Hasan dan Ketua Umum Golkar Airlangga Hartanto.
Anies Baswedan dihampiri dan berkumpul bersama keluarga dan pendukungnya tanpa beranjak dari posisinya saat debat usai.
Sesaat setelah Paslon 01 turun dari panggung , prabowo beserta elite politik pengusungnya kembali ke atas panggung.
Wartawan sempat menayakan alasan anies tidak bersalaman dengan prabowo.
Anies memberikan klarifikasi mengapa ia tidak bersalaman dengan prabowo , situasi tidak memungkinkan baginya karena orang yang akan diajak bersalaman sudah tidak ada ditempat.
